Buckeye Chickens

The Buckeye Chicken breed is a Heritage breed of Chicken that is rare and very interesting.  They were originally bred to do well in colder weather climates.  They are becoming more popular all around the country as a family bird and supplier of farm fresh eggs.  We have a few Buckeye hens along with our other breeds. We also enjoy raising the popular hen, Golden Buffs, which are super egg producers and very easy to handle.   Contact us if you are interested in more information about our chickens.  We offer Cornish Rock meat chickens for the freezer as well as eggs for sale from our various breeds of hens.  Our hens enjoy freedom all around the farm usually year around.
