American Star - Willie
Star has
been sold to a new home in Connecticut and has a new barn name,
Willie. He has been enrolled in our Watch

Willie and Jenn Grant won the Cincinnati area QCDC awards for best Training Level horse and High Point Horse for Training Level in 2006! American Star CWA is a 5 year old gelding who should mature to 14.3 hands tall. He is by the stallion Allegro NTF (Afghan III NTF x Manoa NTF) and out of the mare Carrie Ann's Catlin FJC (Major League NTF x Carrie Ann KH). He is a beautiful colt and a nice mover, willing to learn and eager to please. He is trained to lead, stand tied, load on a trailer, has been clipped and is easy to handle. Willie started his saddle training in December 2005 and has natural balance and great movement. Willie has a lot of athletic ability and gets attention in the show ring. He will be doing some dressage schooling shows here in his training for 2006. Willie has scores in the upper 60's and low 70's at training level and usually receives great comments from the judges on gaits and ability. In
October 2006, Willie started his career in combined training with a crossrails
class and won his division with a score of 37.5! He was a good boy! |
