Waldeck
Waldeck has been sold to a home in Dayton, Ohio. Waldeck Wulf is a 15 year old gelding who is well trained to drive and ride, including jumping. He was imported from Austria as a young horse and is a son of the well known Winterstein. Waldeck is out of the mare Anschi, who was a well known mare in Austria trained for jumping. Waldeck was shown at the World Haflinger show in 1990 as a 2 year old stallion and placed 4th in his class. He was classified Class 1A Gold by Austrian Haflinger standards. Waldeck was owned by an Amish Haflinger Breeder since 1996. He was used for work and breeding as well as attending the Equine Affair for several years as a representative of the Haflinger Horse. He was recently gelded by his Amish owner to make available for sale as a using horse since their junior sire will be ready to breed mares soon. He is well mannered, calm and easy to handle. He and his offspring are well known for their quiet dispositions and willingness to work. |
